Overview

With the help of an expert guide, we enjoy a splendid day, we will visit the Cathedral of Salt of Zipaquirá, one of the wonders of Colombia, we will visit each one of its ships, altars; It consists of three naves: the central and two lateral. In front of the central nave is the monumental cross, which can be seen before reaching the site. Attached to the cross, on the far left, is the sacristy. "The New Cathedral was completed in 1995 and was inaugurated at the end of that year, and ninety-five percent of the carved works that were in the old cathedral were moved there, including, of course, the Virgin Morenita, and the the main altar, the manger, the baptismal font, the angels and cherubs, and the work La Piedad, by the artist Miguel Sopó.
