Overview

Discover the fascinating story of El Dorado. A legend created by Spanish conquerors who, obsessed with gold and seeking adventurers to come to America, spread the rumor of a city made of gold, bringing a multitude of mercenaries to The Nueva Granada.

Next, on our journey, 60 km north of Bogota, the Zipaquirá Salt Cathedral immerses you in the mountains' depths. Be dazzled by the Roman Catholic church, built, and carved by salt miners 200 Mts underground a halite mountain, as proof of Christian devotion.

Have a break from the routine with a spa and relaxation session at the awe-spinning Desal Spa, located at the bottom of the salt mine. Here, you will enjoy the mist of the soil minerals and a purifying environment that matches the salt rituals, aromatherapy, and care of wellness experts in a completely natural space. (optional)

Finish the day with a walk over the cobbled stone roads of Zipaquirá and admire the Spaniard heritage on the beautiful Colonial buildings around the city plaza.
