Overview

We will leave the city to visit a natural park where you will be able to discover one of the most amazing high mountain ecosystems in the world. Colombia has 70% of the world's moors, being a must for all nature lovers.

You will meet centennial frailejones that illuminate the path with their brilliant reflection. We will also see lichens that color the stones in beautiful reddish tones; others hang from some plants. This low level hiking will take us along the paths traced by the ancient Muísca civilization that gave life to the Legend of El Dorado, later these became real roads that connected nearby towns with Bogotá. It is a hiking plan of approximately 9 kms of route where you will visit the Teusaca Lagoon and the La Abuela waterfall.
