What To Expect

Plaza De Mercado La Concordia
La Concordia is a small neighborhood in La Candelaria and is home to one of the most iconic markets in the city center. Here, you will experience a variety of traditional and novelty shops, including the family-owned Late Chocó, our first stop. You will have the chance to taste fresh chocolate made from cacao grown by victims in post-conflict areas. They grow cacao in the heart of the Darién jungle in Colombia´s north west, roast and pack their produce locally in Bogotá. Bonbons with a unique selection of exotic flavor chocolate like, lulo, viche, ginger, arazá and many more are available for you to taste. This is an example of how the Peace Process has allowed communities victims of conflict to develop their own business ideas - from their farms to the cities benefiting many people in the region. This genuine and fresh chocolate is a fantastic experience for your taste buds.

Contrary to a common monument this artwork has a very distinctive approach to what a monument should be, represent and feel like.
